The Institute supervises dissertations in the Doctoral Program of Social and Economic Sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences. The theses address the core activities of the institute, that are consumer behavior, new product development and innovation research, quality management. Furthermore, a core activity is the support in decision-making within the bio-based economy, with a focus on the agricultural and food sector on the one hand and forestry and the wood sector on the other hand.
